Great Italian Food! Can seat large parties and eat as a couple. Very busy restaurant, but don't feel rushed. Bring your own bottle & only charge is a corkage fee $3.

Recently went back in to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Our waiter, Ari, was very eager to please, but gave us a bum steer. We tried an appetizer that was described as tomato, fresh mozzarella and basil.... a classic caprese salad, right? Wrong. It was garlic toast with sliced tomato, covered with melted mozzarella. Not terrible, but a lot of bread (very large portion). Shaky start.
My wife got her usual...lasagna. Reliably good. I went with the veal picatta. Didn't disappoint with lots of buttery / wine / caper wonderfulness. Very generous portion! The bread is always good, but not -

I've now eaten here 3 times. The food is below average and the sauce taste like it's been taken out of a can. The bread is the only real positive.
Tonight, I ordered the chicken parm, they charged me an extra $1 for marinara sauce. I just find that ridiculous on so many levels.
If you're hungry and want Italian food, I would not choose this place. -

This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Lubbock. The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes for the entrees are pretty large. The service is nice and the food always tastes great.
Any dish with pink sauce is fantastic. The pink sauce has a very nice richness and a light sweetness to it. It's extremely decadent and clings to the pasta very well.
One of my favorite dishes here is the chicken aristocrat. It's sautéed chicken and eggplant topped with mozzarella cheese with spaghetti and pink sauce. The chicken and eggplant are meaty and add a nice substance to the pasta. The slight bitterness of the eggplant also pairs really well with the pink sauce.
Another great dish with the pink sauce is the veal albanese. Or if you don't like the pink sauce, the shrimp scampi is also really good. I've been here many times and I've enjoyed every dish that I've tried.
